SEA BATTLE
Twenty story poles highlight the history and heritage of the Haarlemmermeer polder.
These farmlands were once a large and turbulent lake. On this location, the ‘Geuzen’, the Dutch rebels, unfortunately lost the sea battle against the Spanish Armada in 1573.
