Stichting Haarlemmermeer Museum De Cruquius consists of three parts: Cruquius Museum, Historical Museum and Lake History. The museums link up in their stories. The museum staff of 6 employees is supported in execution and knowledge by 250 volunteers.

Stichting Haarlemmermeermuseum De Cruquius operates two museums, namely Cruquius Museum and Historical Museum Haarlemmermeer and the historical association Meer-Historie.

On this website you will find information about our museums. The foundation is managed by director/director Elise van Melis and a Supervisory Board chaired by Pieter van de Stadt. The intention is to house both museums in a few years' time at one location, at steam pumping station De Cruquius.

Haarlemmermeer Museum The Cruquius has an ANBI status (public utility institution). Donors of cultural ANBIs have a tax benefit. Private individuals may deduct 1.25 times the amount of the donation in their income tax return. Companies (under corporation tax), may deduct 1.5 times the amount of the gift.
